Naguib Mahfouz (1911-2006) a prominent novelist of the Egypt and 1988 Nobel Prize winner for literature. He occupies an eminent place in the development of Arabic novel. He is the first literary Nobel Prize winner with Arabic as his native tongue.This article sheds light on the works of the Nobel Laureate Naguib Mahfouz
